According to the initial report from Nghi Loc District Hospital, from 2:00 p.m. on the 6th to 4:30 p.m. on the same day, the Hospital received and treated 42 cases of suspected food poisoning at Premium Fashion Company in WHA Industrial Park.
Through initial examination, most of the workers were hospitalized with symptoms such as: headache, nausea, hot flushes... In which, some cases had chest tightness, red patches, rashes on the skin of the face, neck, arms, fatigue. The direction of diagnosis of patients with food poisoning, grade 1 anaphylaxis.
Immediately after receiving the patients, the hospital mobilized medical staff to support and provide emergency care to the patients. They were given intravenous fluids, antihistamines, corticosteroids, etc. Currently, most of the patients are basically stable.
It is known that in addition to 42 workers being treated at Nghi Loc District General Hospital, 9 workers were taken to Cua Dong General Hospital for emergency treatment and 12 workers were treated at 115 General Hospital.
According to the company's workers, after lunch on June 6 with a menu of rice, braised meat with radish, fried silver pomfret, stir-fried pickles with meat, stir-fried vegetables... at around 1:30 p.m., many people began to show symptoms of vomiting, stomachache, red face... and were immediately taken to medical facilities.
Regarding the incident, Nghe An Food Safety and Hygiene Department is currently coordinating with relevant agencies to collect food samples for testing and clarify the cause.
