According to initial reports from Nghi Loc District Hospital, from 2 PM on the 6th to over 4:30 PM on the same day, the hospital received and treated 42 suspected cases of food poisoning at Premium Fashion Company in WHA Industrial Park.

Initial examinations revealed that most hospitalized workers presented with symptoms such as headaches, nausea, and facial flushing. Some cases also included chest tightness, redness and rashes on the face, neck, and arms, and fatigue. The diagnosis was food poisoning and anaphylaxis grade 1.
Immediately after admitting the patients, the hospital mobilized its medical staff to support and provide emergency care. Treatment included intravenous fluids, antihistamines, corticosteroids, etc. Currently, most patients are in stable condition.

Reportedly, in addition to the 42 workers being treated at Nghi Loc District General Hospital, 9 workers were admitted to Cua Dong General Hospital for emergency treatment and 12 workers are being treated at General Hospital 115.
According to company workers, after lunch on June 6th, which included rice, braised pork with radish, fried mackerel, stir-fried pickled vegetables with meat, stir-fried cabbage, etc., at around 1:30 PM many people began experiencing symptoms such as vomiting, abdominal pain, and facial flushing. They were immediately assisted and taken to medical facilities.
Regarding the incident, the Nghe An Food Safety and Hygiene Sub-Department is currently coordinating with relevant agencies to collect food samples for testing and determine the cause.
