Korea promotes welfare program at Vinpearl

Kien Giang Tourism and Investment Promotion Center, Korean Public Benefit Association (POBA), Vinpearl Joint Stock Company ( Vingroup ) have just signed a memorandum of understanding to promote a 5-star vacation welfare program for Korean state employees and their families.

Accordingly, the company will provide "tailored" package vacations according to standards and individual needs, along with special preferential policies at the 5-star utility ecosystem of Vinpearl Wonderworld Phu Quoc for 3,800 civil servants who enjoy the welfare policy of the Korea Public Benefit Association - POBA from June to December 2024. After that, POBA plans to continue expanding this cooperation model throughout the Vinpearl system on a larger scale.

This is the first time POBA has cooperated with Vietnamese enterprises and brought Association members to travel and explore the S-shaped strip of land under this special welfare program. The first phase of the program will be launched in Phu Quoc island city - a destination with famous natural beauty, possessing tourism infrastructure and a unique and distinctive ecosystem of experiences, culture, and cuisine that are among the world's leading.

In particular, POBA chose Vinpearl as its first strategic partner thanks to the imprint of a series of beautiful and large-scale resort complexes, located in famous, closed, classy coastal tourist destinations, meeting international 5-star service standards.

To reach this important cooperation agreement, POBA directly surveyed and highly appreciated the resort's ability to meet the "double standards" for welfare vacations: safety and a chain of international-class products and services; along with an ecosystem of thousands of diverse and unique experiences and utilities connected around.

Throughout the negotiation and implementation of this program, Phu Quoc City People's Committee, Trade Promotion Center and Kien Giang Province Department of Tourism have always demonstrated the active role of local management agencies, helping POBA officials and their families ensure a safe and complete vacation experience in Phu Quoc.

On this occasion, Mr. Doan Van Tien, Vice Chairman of Phu Quoc City People's Committee, also expressed his hope that POBA will be a bridge for Kien Giang to cooperate more strongly with Korea in the fields of investment, trade and tourism.

"The Korean side supports the promotion and introduction of tourism information and commercial products of Kien Giang to Korean people through the media channels of reputable organizations and units in Korea, and vice versa, Kien Giang will promote tourism and Korean products to the people," Mr. Tien emphasized.

In response, Mr. Kim Jang Hoi - Chairman of POBA - affirmed that the tourism welfare program at the resort in Phu Quoc will be widely promoted to POBA association members.

"I am looking forward to this opportunity to introduce many Korean local government officials to experience the beautiful scenery as well as the long-standing and unique culture of Vietnam in general and Phu Quoc in particular," he shared.

International-class tourism - resort - entertainment complex

On Vinpearl's side, Ms. Ngo Thi Huong - Deputy General Director of Sales and Marketing - said that this event marks an important milestone towards strengthening cooperation between the government, businesses and strategic partners.

"This will be a sustainable foundation for joint efforts to promote and market tourism to Phu Quoc Island with its natural advantages and excellent, all-inclusive services to potential markets and partners," said Ms. Huong.
