Korea introduces many attractive tourist information for Vietnamese tourists - Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station

In recent years, Korea and Vietnam have always been important tourism partners, demonstrated through increasingly vibrant tourism exchanges. In 2024, Korea welcomed nearly 510,000 Vietnamese tourists, making Vietnam the second largest tourist destination in Southeast Asia, after the Philippines with more than 515,000 visitors. In the opposite direction, Vietnam also welcomed nearly 4.6 million Korean visitors in 2024, ranking first among international tourist markets to Vietnam.

2024 also marks the first time that the number of two-way tourist exchanges between Vietnam and Korea has exceeded 5 million. In the first 3 months of 2025, Korea welcomed 134,000 Vietnamese visitors to Korea, an increase of 22.7% over the same period in 2024 and 23.2% over the same period in 2019, and is expected to increase further as Korea enters the spring flower season.

Since the beginning of 2025, continuing the successes achieved, KTO has focused on promoting and promoting tourism programs as well as supporting the development of new and unique Korean tourism products in the Vietnamese market such as the product lines 'K-Culture Tour' - Discovering Korean culture (Tour combining destinations with strong Korean cultural features including K-Pop, K-Drama, K-Beauty, K-Fashion, K-Performace), "Korea Premium Tour" - a high-end Korean tourism experience product line or the product line 'SIT' - Travel according to interests, or combining sports activities such as Korean Tour to participate in the Gyeongju Cherry Blossom Marathon, Seoul, E-sports Tour, Long-distance cycling Tour... In parallel with the above tasks, KTO continues to cooperate with nearly 20 leading Vietnamese travel companies to support product development to bring Vietnamese customers the best experiences. The most unique and attractive experience when coming to Korea, meeting the increasing needs and tastes of Vietnamese tourists.

At the VITM 2025 International Tourism Fair booth from April 10-13, 2025, KTO Vietnam's booth is one of the largest booths at the event with many special activities.

This year, KTO Vietnam will introduce to visitors not only useful Korean tourism information but also many unique cultural experiences such as: Going to traditional markets like local Koreans, Wearing traditional Korean Hanbok for free; Solving quizzes to receive gifts; Taking photos to check-in Korea, Giving away free travel books, etc. Or an extremely attractive activity, giving away more than 300 gifts at the Korean tour buying corner when buying a Korean tour from one of KTO's prestigious partners such as Vietravel Hanoi, Hanoitourist, Flamingo Redtours, Hanotours, Hanoi SkyTours, Saigontourist Hanoi, BestPrice Travel, Postum Travel within the framework of this year's VITM fair. In particular, this exhibition also has the participation of local tourism promotion agencies: Jeju Tourism Promotion Agency, Busan Tourism Promotion Agency, Gyeongsangbuk Tourism Promotion Agency, Gyeongsangbuk Province and Suwon City, promising to bring visitors many new and attractive experiences about Korea's top tourist destinations.
