Three Palestinian soldiers were wounded in an Israeli raid on October 22, according to a statement issued after the Qassam Brigades announced on its Telegram account that they had pushed Israeli forces back into Israeli territory.

The Israeli military said one of its soldiers was killed, while "one was moderately wounded and two were lightly wounded by anti-tank missiles" during a raid on the Gaza Strip.
Israeli forces have carried out cross-border raids they say are aimed at clearing the area and gathering intelligence on people held by Hamas.
According to Al Jazeera, the raids are forcing Hamas to prepare for a full-scale ground offensive that Israel has long been preparing.
Witnesses said the situation on the ground was "really serious" and security conditions inside the Gaza Strip were "unpredictable".
Another source said the loss of life was something the Israeli military would take “very seriously” in direct combat.
The incident occurred as Israel bombed the Gaza Strip for more than two weeks, in response to a surprise Hamas attack on Israel on October 7.
