Accordingly, in recent days, on some mass media and Facebook accounts (continuously posting articles with pictures and clips) there have been reports of teachers at Dap Cau Garment Company Kindergarten (Thi Cau Ward, Bac Ninh City, Bac Ninh Province) committing acts of violence against children.

Specifically, this teacher pulled the child into a corner hidden from the camera, slapped the child repeatedly in the face, grabbed one leg and lifted the child up.

Previously, the Department of Mothers and Children (Ministry of Health ) sent Official Dispatch No. 265/BMTE-BV to the Department of Health of Ben Tre province, also related to the incident of teachers abusing children.

Accordingly, on the media, a teacher at Thu Suong kindergarten group (An Binh quarter, Tiem Tom town, Ba Tri district, Ben Tre province) committed acts of violence against children and continuously stuffed food into their mouths, causing the children to cry and the food to spill out.

Through monitoring the local inspection, verification, and handling of the case, the Department of Mothers and Children requested the Department of Health of Bac Ninh province and the Department of Health of Ben Tre province to coordinate, direct monitoring, support, and intervention for children who suffered violence in the case.

“Promptly and strictly handle subjects who violate children's rights; at the same time, consider handling responsibilities for individuals and organizations that are slow in handling the case, if any,” the Department of Mothers and Children emphasized in two official dispatches.

In addition, the Department of Mothers and Children also requested the Department of Health of Bac Ninh province and the Department of Health of Ben Tre province to strengthen communication work, raise awareness of agencies, organizations, families and individuals in caring for, nurturing and educating children, and prevent violence and child abuse.
