During his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh chose this place to receive guests and work on sunny days. Many receptions of heads of state took place here and left a deep impression of President Ho Chi Minh's polite, refined, and friendly diplomatic style.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh introduced to Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev about Vietnam's coffee culture, coffee industry, as well as the foreign policy and rich cultural traditions and heroic history of the Vietnamese people.

Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev expressed his admiration for the simple life, great ideology and contributions of President Ho Chi Minh not only to the cause of national liberation of the Vietnamese people, but also had a great influence on the common struggle of humanity for peace, national independence, democracy and social progress in the world.

The Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan highly appreciated the taste of Vietnamese coffee and coffee culture, and thanked Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh for his warm and respectful welcome.

The two Prime Ministers moved from the stilt house to the Presidential Palace grounds.

President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace – a special national relic site is where he lived and worked for the last 15 years of his life (1954-1969). Immediately after his passing, a complex of historical relics of special value and significance about him was formed in the Presidential Palace Area.

Uncle Ho's house and the roads he walked on were well looked after and kept clean. The doors were still open, the furniture was still neatly arranged to welcome domestic and international delegations to visit his residence and workplace every day. Documents and artifacts about him here were still carefully preserved, contributing to serving the public who came to visit, research, and study the life, career, ideology, morality, and style of Ho Chi Minh.

Within the Relic Site, the stilt house is considered one of the most prominent and deeply symbolic relics.
