Total import and export turnover through border gates reached 381.6 million USD, of which 229 million USD was exported and 152.6 million USD was imported. Total state budget revenue reached more than 325 billion VND, of which border gates in Lao Cai province reached nearly 258 billion VND. In particular, two units under the department with large import and export volumes and high state budget revenue are Lao Cai International Railway Station Customs and Lao Cai International Border Gate Customs.

VOLUNTEER BLOOD DONATION DAY "HONG YEN SON DROP"
The Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation of Yen Son District (Tuyen Quang Province) has just coordinated with the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, the Provincial General Hospital, the Provincial Red Cross Society, ATK Regional General Hospital and Yen Son District Medical Center to organize the voluntary blood donation festival "Yen Son Red Drops" in 2025.
The festival attracted more than 1,200 volunteers who are union members, youth, civil servants, armed forces and people in the district. The organizing committee received nearly 600 units of blood. The collected blood will be transferred to hospitals to serve the work of saving and treating patients. On this occasion, the District People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to four groups and 20 individuals with achievements in the voluntary blood donation movement.

In order to build a database of beautiful photos of Hung Temple, the Hung Temple Historical Site, Phu Tho Province launched the contest "Beautiful Photos of Hung Temple". Individuals or groups of authors (no more than three people/group) can submit up to five photos to the contest. The entries must be original creations, not published in the media or social networks before the contest launch and must be free of copyright disputes.
Contest photos of historical relics, Hung Temple National Park, nature, people, culture of the Ancestral Land (including landscapes, architecture, festivals, cultural activities, people, tourism activities...). SON LA STRIVES TO COMPLETE THE REMOVAL OF TEMPORARY HOUSINGS BEFORE MAY 19
In 2025, Son La province will have 2,887 households in need of support to remove temporary and dilapidated houses; of which 2,459 households will build new houses and 428 households will repair them. The total number of households after review is 2,855, of which 2,443 households will build new houses and 412 households will repair them. As of April 20, Son La province has completed the construction and repair of 2,206 houses.
Accordingly, 485 houses are under construction, expected to be handed over and put into use in April 2025 (currently, there are 164 houses that have not yet started construction). The province has received funding of more than 199.3 billion VND, which has been and is being allocated to the facilities in accordance with regulations.
Currently, the People's Committee of Son La province is focusing on directing and removing obstacles in the implementation of the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the unfinished districts; speeding up the progress, ensuring the right goals, achieving the highest efficiency... The province is determined to complete the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the area before May 19, 2025.
GIVE FUNDING TO SUPPORT HOUSING CONSTRUCTION FOR AGENT ORANGE VICTIMS
The Bac Giang Province Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin said that from April 18-22, the association organized a fund-raising event to support the construction of houses for families of victims in difficult circumstances in the province. On this occasion, eight households were supported with a total budget of 100 million VND drawn from the Provincial Fund for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin.

Through the survey, the houses of these cases were all seriously degraded. Therefore, the Provincial Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin supported the families with 10-20 million VND for repair and construction. In addition to the above amount, the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in the districts supported the households with funding levels depending on the actual situation in the localities.
