Perspective of Hai Phong Southern Coastal Economic Zone.

Hai Phong Southern Coastal Economic Zone is oriented to become a 3.0 generation, multi-industry eco-economic zone; focusing on high-tech industry , modern logistics; a hub of Hai Phong participating in the regional and global value and supply chain. The Southern Economic Zone is the second coastal economic zone of Hai Phong City, after Dinh Vu - Cat Hai Economic Zone established in 2008.

Deep C Industrial Park is one of 14 industrial parks in Hai Phong.
However, the establishment of the Southern Coastal Economic Zone of Hai Phong faces many difficulties due to its wide social impact. With an area of about 20,000 hectares, located in 22 communes and wards in 5 districts: Do Son, Kien Thuy, An Lao, Tien Lang, Vinh Bao, the implementation of the project will affect many issues: Site clearance, resettlement, change in employment structure... The economic zone is expected to take advantage of the planning of Nam Do Son Port and the International Airport in Tien Lang district. The construction of the Southern Coastal Economic Zone of Hai Phong is part of the development roadmap of Hai Phong City in accordance with the spirit of Resolution 45 of the Politburo and Resolution of the 16th Congress of the City Party Committee. Up to now, Hai Phong is urgently implementing the Project, building a plan and roadmap for the development of the new Economic Zone in accordance with the conditions and development situation of the city. Hai Phong currently has 14 industrial parks with a total area of 6,100 hectares and 1 economic zone with a total area of 22,540 hectares.
