(HNMO) - On the evening of April 17, at Lach Tray Stadium, Hai Phong Club regrettably shared points in a goalless draw with Viettel Club, within the framework of round 7, Night Wolf V.League 2023 National Championship.

Hai Phong Club (yellow shirt) shared points with Viettel FC.

Being in the bottom group after round 6, both Hai Phong and Viettel are very hungry for points to improve their position. With the home field advantage, Hai Phong players quickly dominated the game and created continuous pressure on Viettel's field. Meanwhile, the away team tried to reduce the excitement and avoid being swept away by Hai Phong players' playing style.

Most of the first half was a tight affair. Both teams had dangerous chances but could not convert them into goals.

Entering the second half, the game did not change much when there were continuous situations of tit-for-tat. Unlike the first half, Viettel players had a transformation when they had many situations threatening Hai Phong's goal. Meanwhile, the home team did not show any inferiority when they put Viettel goalkeeper Van Phong's goal in a state of alarm many times. However, both sides failed to score, leaving the field with 1 point in hand.

In previous matches, Dong A Thanh Hoa Club won 5-3 against Ho Chi Minh City; Topeland Binh Dinh surprisingly defeated Hanoi with a score of 3-1.

With the results of round 7, Dong A Thanh Hoa temporarily leads with 17 points, Hanoi ranks 2nd with 14 points and Topenland Binh Dinh ranks 3rd with 13 points. The bottom two positions belong to SHB Da Nang and Becamex Binh Duong.

After round 7, the teams will take a break to make way for U22 Vietnam to participate in SEA Games 32. Round 8 will return in June.
