Two cars caught fire on the road, the driver escaped safely

(Dan Tri) - Two cars were traveling on the road in Quang Tri when they suddenly caught fire, fortunately the drivers were able to escape in time.

On the morning of December 13, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Quang Tri Provincial Police, said that they had just participated in rescuing two vehicles that caught fire while moving on the road.

At around 6am the same day, a car with license plate 74A-067.xx, driven by Mr. HNV (37 years old, residing in Dong Ha city, Quang Tri) on National Highway 1A, passing through Dong Giang ward, Dong Ha city, caught fire. The driver quickly got out of the car safely.

Some people used fire extinguishers to put out the fire but failed. Upon receiving the news, the authorities mobilized two fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers to put out the fire. The fire was brought under control, but the car was left with only its metal frame.

Previously, at 9:30 p.m. on December 12, in Lao Bao town, Huong Hoa district (Quang Tri), a truck traveling on the road also caught fire, the driver abandoned the vehicle and escaped safely.

Upon receiving the news, authorities quickly arrived at the scene and joined in extinguishing the fire.

By 9:50 p.m. the same day, the fire was completely extinguished. However, the fire burned the seats and control system in the cabin, causing an estimated damage of about 50 million VND.
