Two female Government members can answer questions before the National Assembly

The ballot for opinions on the expected group of questions and respondents at the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly has just been sent to National Assembly deputies.

Accordingly, delegates were asked to give their opinions and choose 3 out of 4 groups of questions to be questioned at the 8th session.

The first group of issues in the field of planning and investment includes: Ensuring resources to implement policies to support socio -economic development in localities after natural disasters; decentralization, delegation of authority, processes and administrative procedures in implementing the National Assembly's Resolutions on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of a number of provinces and cities.

Solutions to improve the operational efficiency of state-owned enterprises; Mechanisms and policies to promote investment attraction, develop industrial parks, economic zones, etc. are also contents in the first group of issues.

State Bank Governor Nguyen Thi Hong and Health Minister Dao Hong Lan are two of four government members who could be selected to answer questions (Graphics: Tuan Huy).

The main responsibility for answering questions in this group belongs to the Minister of Planning and Investment. Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh and the Ministers of Finance, Industry and Trade, Agriculture and Rural Development, Transport, Construction, Natural Resources and Environment, Culture, Sports and Tourism; the Governor of the State Bank... will participate in answering questions and explaining related issues.

The second group of issues is in the health sector, including: Mobilizing and arranging medical forces, ensuring medicine and medical supplies for people, and disease prevention and control after natural disasters. Issuing licenses and practice certificates in the field of medical examination and treatment.

The current status of management of functional foods, pharmaceutical cosmetics and solutions to handle violations; Prevention of harmful effects of tobacco and stimulants, especially in the school environment... are also among the issues expected to be questioned.

The Minister of Health is the main person responsible for answering questions in this field. Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long and the Ministers of Planning and Investment, Finance, Industry and Trade, Education and Training, Public Security, National Defense, etc. participated in answering questions and explaining related issues.

The third group of issues is in the banking sector, including: Monetary policy management to control inflation in the context of the volatile world economic situation; State management of the gold market and foreign exchange market; support for loans and exemption and reduction of interest rates for people and businesses to restore production and business after natural disasters.

The responsibility to answer lies with the Governor of the State Bank. Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc and the Ministers of the Ministries of Planning and Investment, Finance, Industry and Trade, Agriculture and Rural Development, etc. will “share the burden” with the Governor.

The fourth group of issues is in the field of information and communication, the expected content is solutions to improve the quality of press activities in the current period of social media explosion, especially the role of revolutionary press in promoting socio-economic development.

Management of advertising activities in newspapers and online environments; investment, development and improvement of telecommunications infrastructure quality, especially in remote areas, ethnic minority areas, etc. are also included in this group of fields.

The main responsibility for answering lies with the Minister of Information and Communications. Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc and the Ministers of Planning and Investment, Finance, Agriculture and Rural Development, Culture, Sports and Tourism, Science and Technology, Public Security; Chairman of the Ethnic Committee… will participate in answering questions and explaining related issues.

According to the agenda, the question and answer session at the 8th session will take place on November 11 and 12.
