The election will be took place on December 15, simultaneously in 112/112 villages, hamlets , and neighborhoods in the area . Up to this point, all work is being carefully prepared by communes and towns .
Due to the local characteristics of many households going to sea to fish far from shore, Duong Hoa commune has directed early and continuous propaganda on the commune's loudspeakers and loudspeakers in the villages to guide the election work, as well as the election date of the village, hamlet, and neighborhood chiefs so that people can grasp the information. The commune also requires households going to sea to regularly update information via radio and telephone to grasp the situation, return on time to exercise their rights and obligations as citizens.
Mr. Pham Thanh Hai, Chairman of Duong Hoa Commune People's Committee, said: Implementing the direction of the province and district, the commune has deployed the election work on schedule, ensuring seriousness, compliance with procedures and legal regulations. The commune's Election Steering Committee has issued a decision to establish 12 election teams; directed the villages to deploy personnel procedures and consultation in accordance with regulations. Currently, 12/12 villages of the commune have completed step 4 of the personnel procedure. Through the consultation steps, 100% of the personnel introduced for re-election and new election have achieved high consensus.
Meanwhile, in Quang Ha town, election preparations are on schedule. Neighborhoods are enthusiastically organizing a summary of their activities for the 2022-2025 term.
Mr. Vu Duc Trieu, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ha town, said: In this election, there are 21 voting areas in the town. The town has established an Election Steering Committee and election teams. Preparations have been carried out seriously and in accordance with procedures; ensuring the principle of Party leadership and State management, ensuring the people's right to know, participate in giving opinions and making decisions. The neighborhoods have completed step 4 of consultation. The candidates who have been recommended by the people for re-election and new elections are all enthusiastic and dedicated in activities in the neighborhoods.
The election of village, hamlet and ward chiefs is an important event to promote the people's mastery; improve the effectiveness of building and implementing grassroots democracy regulations; strengthen solidarity and unity in the community. At the same time, select and elect exemplary people with qualities, capacity and prestige, representing the community to carry out self-management work in the area. To prepare for this important political event, all levels from district to grassroots have proactively and actively directed and implemented the election work, basically ensuring the content and steps of the process.
The district has issued a plan to implement and guide the election work; organized conferences to disseminate, disseminate and deploy the election of village, hamlet and neighborhood heads to all levels, sectors, localities, communes and towns; villages and neighborhoods in the area. Up to now, 100% of the commune-level People's Committees have issued decisions to organize the election of village heads, issued decisions to establish election teams to ensure compliance with regulations on the number and composition of participants.
Regarding personnel work, closely following the regulations and instructions of the Central Government and the province, Hai Ha district has directed communes and towns to organize meetings and listen to the Party cell committees report on the expected personnel to be introduced as candidates for village, hamlet, and neighborhood chiefs, ensuring the effective implementation of the model "People trust - Party nominates", maintaining the goal of 100% of Party cell secretaries also being village, hamlet, and neighborhood chiefs. Based on the expected personnel, communes and towns carry out the personnel process for village, hamlet, and neighborhood chiefs in 6 steps.
Voters in the entire district are also eagerly waiting for the day to go to the polls to exercise their right to be masters, and they always expect the elected village, hamlet, and neighborhood chief for the 2025-2027 term to use all their abilities and responsibilities to serve the people, so that the material and spiritual life of the people is constantly improved.
