Working delegation of the Barracks Department, General Department of Logistics inspected the construction progress and execution progress of the Thanh Mien District Military Command Headquarters Construction Project.

Construction started in August 2023, and up to now, the project to build the headquarters of the Kinh Mon town Military Command is entering the final stage, ensuring progress. The new headquarters is planned and built in An Luu ward with an area of nearly 6,000 m2, with items according to the standard design of the Ministry of National Defense. The project is expected to be completed and put into use this June. According to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Duy Hop, Political Commissar of the Kinh Mon town Military Command, the unit's old barracks were cramped and degraded for many years. The Party Committee and the town Military Command have consulted and asked for instructions from superiors, and coordinated to organize the planning to build a new barracks in a standardized direction. During the construction process, the unit strictly inspected and supervised the construction of the project. "The barracks were built spaciously and spaciously, thereby creating momentum and determination for the unit in performing its tasks," said Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Duy Hop.

Thanh Mien District Military Command is also being invested in construction at a new location next to Highway 38, Thanh Mien town. To date, the project has reached about 90% of the construction volume, expected to be completed in August this year. Lieutenant Colonel An Xuan Tue, Commander of Thanh Mien District Military Command, said: "Building a new headquarters for the district-level Military Command has overcome the current difficulties in facilities for the unit, demonstrating the attention of all levels and sectors for the military force, contributing to the good implementation of local defense and military tasks".

On April 17, the working delegation of the Barracks Department, General Department of Logistics led by Colonel Bui Xuan Ninh, Deputy Director of the Barracks Department, inspected the construction of the Military Command headquarters in Thanh Mien district and Kinh Mon town. Comrade Bui Xuan Ninh highly appreciated the results of the construction project implementation, ensuring quality and progress. He requested the functional agencies of the Military Region and the Provincial Military Command to direct the acceleration of construction progress to soon put the project into use. During the construction process, all regulations must be strictly followed, ensuring absolute safety. The forces regularly monitor, record, and update the construction diary, especially the input quality of construction materials, to promptly report to the Provincial Military Command.

Contribute to building a regular barracks

According to the Provincial Military Command, in the period of 2020-2026, the headquarters of the Military Command of Ninh Giang, Thanh Mien, Binh Giang districts and Kinh Mon town will be newly invested in. The construction cost of each barrack is 50 billion VND. Up to now, the headquarters of the Command of Ninh Giang, Thanh Mien districts and Kinh Mon town are about to be completed.
