Hai Duong seizes nearly 1,200 smuggled moon cakes

Accordingly, on the same afternoon, the Inspection Team of Market Management Team No. 5 of the Market Management Department of Hai Duong province coordinated with Team 4 of the Police Department of Investigation of Crimes on Corruption, Economy, Smuggling, and Environment of Hai Duong Provincial Police to conduct a surprise inspection of the Long Xoan 2 candy, cosmetics, and grocery store on Mai Hac De Street, Cam Thuong Ward, Hai Duong City.

Upon inspection, the authorities discovered that the store was selling nearly 1,200 moon cakes, baked goods, and pastries of all kinds that were smuggled goods. All smuggled goods were temporarily detained by the authorities for clarification and handling according to regulations.

Previously, on August 23, Market Management Team No. 1 issued a decision to fine Business Household Pham Thi L. (address: No. 7/5/39 Khuc Thua Du Street, Thanh Binh Ward, Hai Duong City, Hai Duong Province) for trading in smuggled moon cakes, forcing the destruction of 48 violating moon cakes.
