On the afternoon of September 11, in Chi Linh City (Hai Duong), the Propaganda Department of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee coordinated with the Department of Information and Communications, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Provincial Journalists Association and the Chi Linh City Party Committee to organize a September press conference, and at the same time provide information about the Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival and the Chi Linh - Hai Duong Festival in 2023.
Mr. Nguyen Quang Phuc, Head of the Propaganda Department of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee, emphasized that the Chi Linh - Hai Duong Festival organized in parallel with the Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival has an important meaning in creating new tourism products; introducing and strongly promoting the image, historical values, culture, beliefs, celebrities, tourist destinations, potential, distinct and outstanding advantages, and development strategy of Chi Linh City and Hai Duong province.
The festival also aims to improve the spiritual life of people and tourists, contributing to promoting socio-economic development, preserving and promoting the cultural heritage values of the nation.
Mr. Nguyen Quang Phuc, Head of the Propaganda Department of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee, talked to the press about the Chi Linh - Hai Duong Festival in 2023 and the Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival.
Mr. Phuc suggested that the Department of Information and Communications arrange free wifi stations and ensure capacity so that people and tourists can conveniently share about these two events widely on digital platforms.
The 2023 Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival will take place over 11 days from September 24 to October 4 (from August 10 to 20 of the lunar calendar). The memorial ceremony for the 723rd death anniversary of King Hung Dao Tran Quoc Tuan and the opening ceremony will be held at 7:30 p.m. on August 16 of the lunar calendar.
Within the framework of the festival, there will be the 2023 Cultural Tourism and Trade Promotion Week, the largest ever with 65 booths selling products from Hai Duong and localities across the country, opening simultaneously on the evening of August 16 of the lunar calendar.

The Chi Linh - Hai Duong Festival 2023 has the theme "Convergence of quintessence - Aspiration to shine", including 8 programs: opening ceremony; full moon festival with the theme "Lanterns light up the dreams of children in Chi Linh - Hai Duong"; festival to practice the worship of the Mother Goddess of the Three Palaces at the National Monument of the Mother Goddess Sinh Temple - Thanh Hoa Temple; display and introduction of OCOP products, typical handicraft products and exhibition of ornamental plants; folk games; "Vietnamese Mid-Autumn Festival" experience space; folk dance and sport dance performances and exchanges; coordination in organizing activities of the Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival 2023.
The opening ceremony of the Chi Linh - Hai Duong Festival 2023 will be broadcast live on VTC1 channel - VTC Digital Television Station, rebroadcast on Hai Duong, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang Radio and Television Stations and some neighboring provinces and cities at 8:10 p.m. on September 28.
