On the morning of April 18, Squadron 11 (Coast Guard Region 1) organized activities in response to Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day (April 21) with the theme "With books, entering the era of national growth".
At the program, the Party Committee and commanders of agencies and units in the 11th Fleet organized propaganda about the position, meaning, role and importance of books in social life, and President Ho Chi Minh 's methods of studying and reading books.
The program also introduces good books about the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh, about the generals in the Vietnam People's Army, about literature and art or books written about history recording the arduous but resilient journey of our nation in the struggle against the US, saving the country, fully recreating the heroic and glorious atmosphere in the Great Victory of Spring 1975 to unify the country; books about the legal and historical basis affirming the sovereignty of our sea and islands, the Party and State's policies on protecting the sovereignty of sea and islands, about the fields of economics, politics , culture, society... The program attracted the response of many officers and soldiers of the Navy to participate in research and study at the unit.
Recently, activities in response to Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day has been actively responded to and implemented by the 11th Navy in a systematic manner with many rich and diverse forms. Thereby, raising the awareness and responsibility of the unit's officers and soldiers in acquiring knowledge and developing a reading culture, building comprehensive and correct awareness, training the personality and qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers for soldiers in the new situation. At the same time, arousing patriotism, courage, national pride and building pure motivation and ideals for all soldiers, contributing to the successful completion of assigned tasks.
