On November 16, authorities of Ba Diem commune, Hoc Mon district, are investigating the case of two newborn boys abandoned in front of a house on Kenh T2 street.
Sharing with Dan Tri reporter, Ms. Do Thi Thanh (30 years old, living in Hoc Mon district) said that at around 3am the same day, Ms. Thanh's neighbor heard a baby crying in front of her house so she went out to check.

At that time, they discovered two newborn boys abandoned in a Styrofoam box with a handwritten letter that read: "My name is NTH, born in 2000. I gave birth to two boys at 7am on November 15. Because my husband left, I do not have enough money or ability to raise the two children. I hope someone who is able to adopt the two children...".
Knowing that Ms. Thanh had a small child, the neighbor's family brought the two children over for her to take care of.
"I saw the two babies' bodies still red, lying in a narrow Styrofoam box, so I went into the house to get their clothes, changed them, and then reported to the police. After that, the police instructed me to take the two children to the hospital," Ms. Thanh said.
Extracting images from security cameras, the authorities initially discovered that at nearly 1 a.m. the same day, a person riding a motorbike left two boys at the base of a star fruit tree in front of a resident's house and then left.
The leader of Ba Diem Commune People's Committee said that local authorities and medical staff are taking care of the two children's health.
