Ha Tinh mobilizes nearly 51 billion VND to support the poor

Implementing the movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor, leaving no one behind", from the beginning of 2023 to now, the Fatherland Front at all levels in Ha Tinh has mobilized nearly 51 billion VND to support the poor.

Through many flexible forms, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and its member organizations at all levels have proactively developed plans, mobilized and effectively used resources to support the poor; and signed coordination programs with relevant sectors.

Since the beginning of the year, the Fatherland Front at all levels in Ha Tinh has mobilized nearly 51 billion VND to support the poor.

In the first 6 months of 2023, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels mobilized nearly 51 billion VND for the poor, of which the "For the Poor" Fund at all levels mobilized 13.1 billion VND; social security sources mobilized 37.8 billion VND.

This mobilized source has been used to support the construction and repair of 244 houses worth 14.7 billion VND for poor, near-poor and disadvantaged households; support 299 households to develop production with a total amount of 1.63 billion VND; provide emergency support and medical examination and treatment for dozens of people with a total amount of more than 220 million VND; support 336 poor students who have overcome difficulties to study well with a total amount of over 350 million VND; give gifts to the poor on holidays and Tet with an amount of billions of VND...

Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Tran Nhat Tan and Director of the Provincial Bank for Social Policies Bui Thi Ngoc Ha signed a cooperation program between the two units on credit policies for people.

The Provincial "For the Poor" Fund Mobilization Committee has also issued a plan to support 100 livelihood models to help the poor develop production and create conditions to escape poverty sustainably.

The Fatherland Front at district and commune levels continues to focus on mobilizing the establishment of the "For the Poor" Fund, promptly providing housing support to households in difficulty in the area; implementing many social security activities, diversifying forms of support for the poor.

Along with that, the Fatherland Front also coordinated with relevant sectors to implement a number of signed programs in the fields of insurance, banking... to bring practical benefits to people, especially poor households and policy families.
