The Ha Tinh Spring Newspaper Fair, Year of the Dragon, will take place in Ky Anh town from January 29th to February 31st, 2024. Preparations are being urgently completed by relevant units, ready to welcome readers and the public to visit and learn more.

According to Vo Xuan Bau, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association: "The annual Spring Press Festival has become a traditional cultural activity for press and media agencies. It is not only a forum for press agencies to interact, learn, and exchange experiences, but also a practical way to honor reading culture, contribute to introducing and widely promoting journalistic publications, bringing journalism closer to readers; and listen to public opinions to improve and enhance the quality of journalism."
This year, the Spring Press Festival is organized by the Provincial Journalists Association in coordination with the Department of Information and Communications and the People's Committee of Ky Anh town from January 29th to February 31st, 2024 (corresponding to the 19th to 21st days of the 12th lunar month of the Year of the Rabbit) at the large hall of the People's Committee of Ky Anh town, along with a photo exhibition and the launch of a publication themed "Ky Anh Town - Aspiration for Development and Investment Opportunities".
The Spring Press Festival of the Year of the Dragon 2024 is associated with the launch of the publication "Kỳ Anh Town - Aspiration for Development and Investment Opportunities".
The press festival will include exhibition spaces showcasing over 1,200 newspapers and publications from the central government, Ha Tinh province, and local news bulletins; as well as displays of books, paintings, art photographs, and current affairs on the themes "The Beauty of Ha Tinh's Land and People" and "Ky Anh Town - Aspirations for Development and Investment Opportunities".
Some outstanding achievements in the economic , social, national defense, and security development of Ky Anh town in 2023, the goals and tasks for 2024; cultural traditions, Tet spaces past and present... will also be introduced at the press conference through images, charts, videos, documentary reports...
Officials from the Culture and Information Department of Ky Anh town are finalizing several tasks, such as developing program scripts and advising on the selection of materials for publication.
Ms. Ho Minh Hang, Head of the Culture and Information Department of Ky Anh Town, said: “Currently, some tasks have been basically completed, such as: developing the program script, designing the market; advising on the selection of paintings and photos, compiling and publishing materials for the exhibition; arranging the space for displaying publications; reception, ceremonial arrangements, and cultural performances at the opening ceremony... We are also coordinating with relevant units to review the list of delegates, the list of households and students with difficult circumstances who will receive gifts at the program.”
According to the assigned plan, at this time, the units have also made arrangements to ensure security and order, manage traffic flow, and strengthen information and communication efforts about the program. Due to the cold and rainy weather, the preparation and decoration of the outdoor space of the hall have been affected. However, the local authorities are making efforts to complete everything on schedule and provide thorough service for the program.
This is an opportunity for Ky Anh town to showcase some of its socio-economic achievements and potential advantages to attract investment and develop local tourism .

This is also an opportunity for the locality to promote the image of Ky Anh's land and people; to introduce some socio-economic achievements and potential advantages to attract investment and develop local tourism."

Within the framework of the Spring Press Festival 2024, Ky Anh Town, in coordination with the Journalists' Association, called for resources from organizations, businesses, and philanthropists to give Tet gifts to people and students in difficult circumstances. To date, 240 gift packages worth approximately 120 million VND have been mobilized and will be distributed at the opening ceremony, contributing to bringing warmth to the people during the spring festival.
Continuing the tradition of previous years' Spring Press Festivals, this year's Spring Press Festival will be organized in a solemn and economical manner, aiming to provide more entertainment and recreation for the people during the Lunar New Year; at the same time, it will present a comprehensive picture of the economic, political, and social development and honor the achievements of journalists and reporters from the central and local levels over the past year. The festival will also contribute to affirming the position of Ha Tinh's press in the national press, contributing to the successful implementation of the province's socio-economic development tasks.
