Standing Vice President of the Provincial Journalists Association Vo Xuan Bau said: "The annual Spring Press Festival has become a traditional cultural activity of press and media agencies. This is not only a forum for press agencies to exchange and learn from each other, but also practically honors the reading culture, contributes to introducing and widely promoting press publications, bringing the press closer to readers; listens to public opinions so that the press can improve and increasingly improve its quality."
This year, the Spring Press Festival was organized by the Provincial Journalists Association in coordination with the Department of Information and Communications and the People's Committee of Ky Anh town from January 29 to February 31, 2024 (ie December 19 - 21, Quy Mao year) at the large hall of the People's Committee of the town, associated with the photo exhibition event, launching the publication with the theme "Ky Anh town - development aspirations and investment opportunities".

The press conference will include exhibition space for more than 1,200 newspapers, central press publications, Ha Tinh press, local news; display of books, paintings, art photos and news on the themes "Beauty of Ha Tinh land and people", "Ky Anh town - development aspirations and investment opportunities".
Some outstanding achievements in economic, social, defense and security development of Ky Anh town in 2023, goals and tasks in 2024; cultural traditions, Tet space past and present... will also be introduced at the press conference through images, charts, videos, documentary reports...

Ms. Ho Minh Hang - Head of the Department of Culture and Information of Ky Anh Town said: "Currently, some tasks have been basically completed such as: developing the program script, designing the market; consulting on the selection of paintings, photos, and editing to publish publications for the exhibition; arranging the space to display publications; reception work, celebrations, and art programs at the opening ceremony... We are also coordinating with relevant units to review the list of delegates, the list of households and students in difficult circumstances who received gifts at the program".
According to the assigned plan, at this time, the units have also made plans to ensure security and order, traffic flow; and strengthen information and propaganda work about the program. Due to the cold and rainy weather, the preparation and decoration of the space outside the hall has been affected. However, the locality is making efforts to complete the program on schedule and serve the program well.
This is an opportunity for Ky Anh town to introduce some socio-economic achievements and potentials and advantages to attract investment and develop local tourism.
Vice Chairman of Ky Anh Town People's Committee Nguyen Van Chung said: "The Giap Thin Spring Newspaper Festival 2024 held in Ky Anh Town is a practical activity to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2024), and celebrate the Giap Thin Spring 2024. This is also an opportunity for the locality to promote the image of Ky Anh land and people; introduce some socio-economic achievements and potentials and advantages to attract investment and develop local tourism".

Within the framework of the Giap Thin Spring Press Festival 2024, Ky Anh Town coordinated with the Journalists Association to call for resources from organizations, businesses, and philanthropists to give Tet gifts to people and students in difficult circumstances. Up to now, 240 gifts worth about 120 million VND have been mobilized to be given at the opening ceremony, contributing to bringing a warm spring to the people.
Continuing the tradition of the Spring Press Festival in previous years, this year's Spring Press Festival will be organized solemnly and economically with the aim of creating more places for people to have fun and entertainment during the New Year; at the same time, introducing a panoramic picture of economic, political and social development and honoring the achievements of a year of activities of the Central and local journalists and reporters. The Press Festival will also contribute to affirming the position of Ha Tinh press in the national press, contributing to the successful implementation of the socio-economic development tasks of the province.
