Ha Tinh launches Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day

On the morning of April 19, at Ha Tinh High School for the Gifted, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a launching ceremony for Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2025.

Attending the event were Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran The Dung; representatives of provincial departments, branches and sectors and a large number of teachers and students.

Book and Reading Culture Day in Ha Tinh in 2025 took place with many activities such as: Launching ceremony of Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day; talk on "Reading in the digital age"; book display and exhibition; organizing multimedia mobile library vehicles at schools; donating books and reading equipment... Student Pham Anh Duong - grade 11 English 2 (Ha Tinh High School for the Gifted) introduces the memoir "Sacred Soul of Men" by author Nguyen Ngoc Vuong.

Within the framework of the activities of Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2025, there are 10 units participating with 10 booths displaying and exhibiting books. The booths introduce books on many meaningful and diverse topics such as: Southern Liberation Day, National Reunification Day; the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh; Vietnam's seas and islands; political , economic, cultural and social achievements of Ha Tinh province... At the launching ceremony, the Provincial Library presented book sets worth a total of 45 million VND to 3 units: Ha Tinh Specialized High School; Tra Linh Secondary School (Phu Loc Commune, Can Loc District); Xuan Loc Commune Library (Can Loc).

Within the framework of the program, delegates also visited booths displaying and introducing books.
