Ha Tinh allocates nearly 87 billion VND to implement new rural policy

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province assigned the People's Committees of districts, cities and towns to promptly organize implementation, take responsibility for managing and using the supported funds to ensure proper purposes, effectiveness and make payments and settlements in accordance with current regulations.

Chairman of Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai has just signed and issued Decision No. 531/QD-UBND dated February 23, 2024 on allocating funds to implement support policies to create resources to successfully build Ha Tinh province to meet new rural standards according to Resolution No. 44/2021/NQ-HDND dated December 16, 2021 of the Provincial People's Council (phase 1, 2024).

People in village 9, Cam Minh commune started building new rural areas from the 9th day of the Lunar New Year.

Accordingly, the provincial budget will allocate VND 86,923 billion from the new rural policy source (arranged in Section 11, Part II, Appendix No. 02 issued with Decision No. 3355/QD-UBND dated December 18, 2023 of the Provincial People's Committee) to provide to the People's Committees of districts, cities and towns to implement the support policy to create resources to successfully build Ha Tinh province to meet new rural standards, period 2022-2025 according to Resolution No. 44/2021/NQ-HDND of the Provincial People's Council.

The localities allocated funding in the first phase are as follows: Huong Khe 23,982 billion VND, Ky Anh 16,944 billion VND, Can Loc 8,007 billion VND, Cam Xuyen 7,910 billion VND, Thach Ha 6,264 billion VND, Duc Tho 5,459 billion VND, Nghi Xuan 4,530 billion VND, Huong Son 4,024 billion VND, Loc Ha 3,721 billion VND, Vu Quang 2,100 billion VND, Ha Tinh City 1,849 billion VND, Ky Anh Town 1,256 billion VND, Hong Linh Town 877 million VND.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Finance, the Provincial State Treasury and relevant agencies to allocate and disburse capital in a timely manner and in accordance with regulations.

The People's Committees of districts, cities and towns shall promptly organize and be responsible for managing and using the supported funds to ensure proper purposes and effectiveness, and making payments and settlements in accordance with current regulations; periodically on the 25th of each month, quarter, year and ad hoc, report on the progress, implementation results and disbursement of policy funds to the Department of Finance and related departments and branches.

The Department of Finance, the Provincial State Treasury, the People's Committees of districts, cities and towns, according to their functions and duties, must take full responsibility before the law, the Provincial People's Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and inspection and examination agencies for the accuracy and compliance with legal regulations of information, data and budget plans for policy implementation.
