The Hanoi Department of Tourism has just issued a document on ensuring railway traffic security and safety to units and businesses providing travel services and transporting tourists in the city.

The document shows that recently, many tourists often come to the railway area (in Hang Bong Ward, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi) to visit and take photos. Some tourist groups are brought by vehicles and gather at the checkpoint area at 5 Tran Phu (Hang Bong Ward), causing traffic congestion, unsafety, high risk of railway traffic accidents and putting pressure on the forces protecting the railway safety corridor.
Therefore, the Hanoi Department of Tourism requires travel and tourist transport businesses to propagate and advise tourists, especially foreign tourists, not to visit, take photos, drink coffee, or have refreshments in the railway area.
The Hanoi Department of Tourism also requested businesses not to organize tours to pick up and drop off guests at the railway cafe area (on the Phung Hung - Tran Phu - Le Duan railway line) to ensure security and safety for guests when visiting and traveling in Hanoi; assigned the Hanoi Department of Tourism Inspectorate to strengthen inspection and handle violations.
Hanoi asks travel companies not to take tourists to the train street coffee shop
According to the People's Committee of Hang Bong Ward, recently, travel companies often bring tourists to the railway area to visit and take photos. Many tourist groups are brought by 45-seat buses, gathering near the checkpoint, causing traffic jams, endangering railway safety and putting pressure on security forces.
In particular, there have been many cases where tourists have pushed and shoved the forces on duty at the checkpoint. Therefore, Hang Bong Ward has requested the Hanoi Department of Tourism to coordinate to ensure security and order in the area of the railway crossing No. 5 Tran Phu.
