Accordingly, the city will review and comprehensively evaluate the implementation of the objectives, requirements and contents of the National Strategy on Crime Prevention and Control, especially crime prevention and control programs. The focus is on leadership, direction and management of the implementation of the National Strategy on Crime Prevention and Control. The organization, dissemination and direction of the implementation of directives, resolutions and action programs of the Central Party Committee, the National Assembly, the Government, the Prime Minister, the City Party Committee, the People's Council and the City People's Committee on crime prevention and control...

Evaluate the results of detection, investigation, prosecution, and trial of crimes (violation of national security, criminal, economic, drug, environmental, organized crime, high-tech crime, transnational organized crime, emerging crimes, etc.); arrest and search work; receiving and handling crime reports, denunciations, and recommendations for prosecution, etc.

Based on the summary and evaluation of the results of the implementation of the National Strategy on Crime Prevention and Control and the practical situation, research, advise, recommend and propose to competent authorities to develop programs and plans on crime prevention and control for the period 2026-2030; propose new policies and solutions on crime prevention and control in the coming time in accordance with the practical model of the 2-level local government, propose and recommend adjusting the objectives of the National Strategy on Crime Prevention and Control to suit new requirements, tasks and the actual situation of the locality.

To do this well, the city's departments, branches, sectors, and organizations; and the district-level People's Committees shall develop implementation plans and organize the summary of the National Strategy on Crime Prevention and Control specifically, in accordance with the assigned functions, tasks, and actual situation; ensuring the correct content and progress as set out.

The City Police Department is assigned to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to guide the city's departments, branches, sectors, and organizations; People's Committees at all levels to summarize the implementation of the National Crime Prevention and Control Strategy. Develop a report summarizing 10 years of implementing the National Crime Prevention and Control Strategy for the period 2016-2025; and draft a crime prevention and control program and plan for the period 2026-2030 to be sent to the Ministry of Public Security before July 1, 2025.

Propose and advise the City People's Committee to organize a conference to summarize 10 years of implementing the National Strategy on Crime Prevention and Control for the period 2016-2025 and orientation to 2030, to be completed in the third quarter of 2025.
