Hanoi organizes many art programs to celebrate Southern Liberation Day

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); the 139th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2025) and the 71st anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2025), the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports has just directed the city's art units to organize a series of free art programs for the public.

Programs are deployed in district, town and city centers during the anniversary.

Specifically, Thang Long Music and Dance Theater will organize two shows, including a large-scale show on the evening of April 29 at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square stage, Hoan Kiem district.

The second night of the Theater will take place on the stage in front of the Martyrdom Monument, Ba Kieu Temple area, Hoan Kiem district on the evening of May 4.

Also at the stage of Ba Kieu Temple area, on the evening of April 30, Thang Long Puppetry Theater will organize an art program to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

On the occasion of the Dien Bien Phu victory anniversary, Thang Long Water Puppetry Theatre will perform in the center of Cau Giay district on the evening of May 7.

On this occasion, the city also directed art units to organize performances in suburban districts.

Hanoi Circus and Variety Arts Theatre will organize two shows on the evening of April 27 in Ung Hoa district and the evening of April 30 in Dong Anh district.

Hanoi Opera House performed in Me Linh district on the evening of April 27 and in Thanh Oai district on the evening of May 4.

On the evening of April 27, Hanoi Drama Theater will hold a performance in Thach That district and on the evening of April 30, a performance in Chuong My district.

Hanoi Cheo Theater organized art programs in Phu Xuyen district on the evening of April 27 and in Nam Tu Liem district on the evening of April 30.

The City Cultural Center will perform two nights on the evening of April 27 in Ha Dong district and the evening of April 29 in Hoai Duc district.

The art programs focus on praising the Communist Party of Vietnam, President Ho Chi Minh and love for the homeland, country and people of Vietnam.

In particular, praising the nation's revolutionary struggle tradition, the stature, great historical value, great and profound significance of the Southern Liberation Day, National Reunification Day April 30, and the Dien Bien Phu victory May 7 to the nation and the era.

The programs also included many performances praising the achievements of the country and Ho Chi Minh City after 50 years of national reunification, especially in the current process of innovation and international integration; about the aspiration to rise up for a strong and prosperous Vietnam; about the New Era - the Era of national growth.

Elaborately organized and staged with the participation of many famous artists, the art programs will bring a joyful and exciting atmosphere, strengthening faith in the Party's leadership on the occasion of celebrating many important events of the country.
