Hanoi: Establishing a craft village industrial cluster with an investment capital of over 500 billion VND

On April 22, the Hanoi People's Committee issued Decision No. 2134/QD-UBND on the establishment of Canh Nau Craft Village Industrial Cluster - Phase 2, located in Lam Son commune, Thach That district.

This project is invested in and built with the goal of developing green, clean industry, applying high technology, promising to create a sustainable and modern production environment.

The industrial park has a total area of ​​17.22 hectares, with a total expected investment of up to 502 billion VND. The project implementation period is 24 months from the date the City People's Committee issues the establishment decision and will operate for 50 years.

The investor of the project is Long Bien Group Joint Stock Company, with main business lines being forest product processing, production and trading of high-end wooden furniture and handicrafts, and a number of other business lines in accordance with legal regulations.

One of the highlights of the project is the construction of a modern, synchronous technical infrastructure system, including a centralized wastewater treatment plant with advanced environmental treatment technology, a separate wastewater and surface water collection system, along with other public utilities. In particular, the project will prioritize attracting clean industrial production enterprises, using modern and automated technology, to ensure environmental sanitation and relocate production facilities out of residential areas.

The City People's Committee requires the investor to take full responsibility for the truthfulness and legality of the information and data in the proposal documents, and to ensure sufficient capital to implement the project according to regulations. The project can only be implemented after completing procedures on investment, planning, land, environment, construction, and fire safety.

The People's Committee of Thach That district will perform the State management tasks for this Industrial Cluster, the Department of Industry and Trade will be the focal agency advising the City People's Committee in managing the industrial cluster according to Government regulations.

Canh Nau Craft Village Industrial Cluster - Phase 2 is not only an important step forward in local economic development but also contributes to environmental protection and improving the quality of life for people in the area.
