On November 15, Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh received Mr. Takagi Kuninori, Chairman of International University of Health and Welfare (IUHW) Corporation of Japan.
At the reception, the Chairman of the City People's Committee affirmed that, on the basis of the good relationship between the two countries, the capital city of Hanoi always attaches importance to and pays attention to promoting friendly relations and actively promoting cooperation with many localities of Japan.
In recent times, more and more Japanese corporations and enterprises have come to Hanoi to invest in large-scale projects, bringing positive impacts to Hanoi’s growth and urban development. Japan is also an important cooperation partner with many activities of technology transfer, technical support, projects, training programs, etc.
Accordingly, the two sides spent a lot of time discussing issues of mutual concern. The Chairman of the City People's Committee answered many questions from IWH Group regarding expected projects, including the investment project to build a hospital in the North Hanoi Smart City, the desire to build a new university in the city...
Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh affirmed that the capital's government supports the IWH Group's idea of implementing investment cooperation to build a high-quality, Japanese-standard medical examination and treatment facility in Hanoi as well as implementing bilateral cooperation in the health sector. Hanoi supports the policy and will resolutely direct and create favorable conditions for the cooperation to be implemented smoothly.
Thanking the information from Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh, Mr. Takagi Kunimori affirmed that during his term of office, he will do his best to promote the implementation of projects between IUHW and Hanoi.
Appreciating the capacity and learning spirit of Vietnamese medical staff who participated in exchange programs in Japan, IUHW leaders also invited medical staff in Hanoi to visit, study and share experiences at IUHW facilities in Japan.
