Hanoi will increase at least 50 cooperatives and 1,000 cooperative groups in agriculture.

The Hanoi People's Committee has just planned to implement the Project "Vietnam Farmers' Association participates in developing collective economy in agriculture until 2030" in Hanoi.

The plan aims to enhance the role, awareness and responsibility of cadres and farmer members on the Party's policies and the State's laws on innovation, development and improvement of collective economic efficiency; promote information, propaganda, attraction, mobilization, guidance and support for members and farmers to actively participate in collective economic development in agriculture...

Accordingly, the City strives to provide consultation and support in the establishment of at least 14 new cooperatives and 290 cooperative groups in the agricultural sector by 2025 and increase the number of cooperatives by at least 50 cooperatives and 1,000 cooperative groups by 2030.

At the same time, consolidate and improve the quality and operational efficiency of at least 15 agricultural cooperatives mobilized, guided and supported by Farmers' Associations at all levels to be established by 2025 and increase to 100 cooperatives by 2030.

Along with that, attract an additional 12% of farmer households to participate in collective economic organizations in agriculture by 2025 and increase to 15% by 2030. Support at least 10% by 2025, increase to 25% by 2030 of the number of professional Farmers' Association branches and professional Farmers' Association groups to develop into cooperatives and agricultural cooperative groups.

The city also strives to have at least 50% of agricultural cooperatives established with the support of the Farmers' Association by 2025 and at least 70% by 2030 to participate in production and business linkages with enterprises and other economic organizations.

Similarly, 50% by 2025 and 70% by 2030 of agricultural cooperatives will be supported to access credit sources. 100% of Farmers' Association officials at all levels working to support collective economic development will be trained to improve their knowledge and skills in propaganda, mobilization, consulting, and supporting farmers to develop collective economies; at least 70% by 2025 and 90% by 2030 of key officials of agricultural cooperatives established with the support of the Farmers' Association will participate in training, fostering, and training to improve their management, professional, and technical skills.

To complete these targets, the City People's Committee assigned the City Farmers' Association to organize training courses on the topic "Farmers' Association propagates and mobilizes, guides farmers to develop collective economy in agriculture and rural areas" for the period 2025 - 2030; mobilize socialized resources to implement the plan integrated with other activities, programs and projects managed by the Association.

The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development coordinates with the City Farmers' Association to implement activities of the plan in the field of supporting collective economic development in the agricultural and rural areas of the National Target Program on New Rural Development and programs and projects related to the field of collective economy and cooperatives.

At the same time, organize integration, linkage, training, and coaching for cooperative groups, agricultural cooperatives and members on business administration skills, production management, expertise, and profession to ensure efficiency and no duplication...

The People's Committees of districts and towns shall proactively allocate resources from local budgets, use capital from national target programs, integrate credit capital sources and other legal capital sources to organize and implement the plan in the area; assign specific responsibilities to the Farmers' Association at the same level and relevant local sectors.
