Accordingly, the size of sidewalks, median strips, and traffic organization at some intersections on 7 routes will be adjusted: Giang Vo, Lang Ha, Le Van Luong, To Huu, Hoang Dao Thuy, Hoang Minh Giam, Khuat Duy Tien. These are all routes with especially high traffic density, often congested during rush hour.

In particular, Giang Vo, Lang Ha, Le Van Luong, To Huu routes are located on the BRT bus route, which is a radial traffic axis. Due to the concentration of vehicles entering and leaving the central area, the traffic volume increases, especially during rush hours, causing traffic congestion.

Investment in project construction, infrastructure renovation, urgent traffic organization at some intersections and routes to reduce traffic congestion (phase 1) will contribute to improving traffic capacity, reducing traffic congestion, creating awareness among people when using public passenger transport; contributing to promoting socio-economic development in the area where the route passes through.
