The image of President Ho Chi Minh reading the Declaration of Independence, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, is solemnly present on Dien Bien Phu Street.
Many central streets such as Hoang Dieu, Hung Vuong, Dinh Tien Hoang, Dien Bien Phu... have been decorated with shapes, slogans, propaganda paintings and billboards celebrating the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.
