Hanoi bustles with a series of cultural events to celebrate April 30 and May 1
According to the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, the Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi Old Quarter Management Board coordinated with units and individuals to organize a series of unique cultural activities to join the national atmosphere of celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the 139th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2025), towards the 71st anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2025) and the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025).
