Hanoi: Approving the detailed planning task of the Capital Buddhist Cultural Center

The Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha is responsible for organizing the planning of the Capital Buddhist Cultural Center, in Da Ton commune, Gia Lam district, Hanoi, in accordance with the schedule and current regulations.

The Hanoi People's Committee has just issued a decision approving the detailed planning task at a scale of 1/500 for the Capital Buddhist Cultural Center, in Da Ton commune, Gia Lam district, Hanoi city.

According to the Decision, the project area is about 5.38 hectares with the goal of concretizing the adjustment of the Capital's Master Plan to 2045, with a vision to 2065 and locally adjusting the N11 Urban Subdivision Plan at planning block C4 approved by competent authorities.

In addition, the proposed structure, functions and land use indicators meet the requirements of building a Buddhist Cultural Center in the Capital with synchronous architectural planning and technical infrastructure with the purposes of being a center for organizing Buddhist cultural events in the Capital; a center for introducing, preserving and promoting the traditional cultural values ​​of Buddhism in the Capital; an administrative headquarters of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of the city; creating a cultural space to attract people and tourists.

The detailed planning budget estimate is made in accordance with Circular No. 20/2019/TT-BXD dated December 31, 2019 of the Ministry of Construction on guidelines for determining and managing construction and urban planning costs and relevant current regulations. The time to complete the detailed planning project dossier is 6 months from the date the Planning task is approved.

The Department of Planning and Architecture is responsible for organizing the inspection and confirmation of the detailed planning task description at a scale of 1/500 for the Capital Buddhist Cultural Center in accordance with the approval decision of the City People's Committee.

The Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha is responsible for organizing the planning in accordance with the schedule and current regulations of the State and the city on planning management, investment and construction; closely coordinating with relevant departments and branches, Gia Lam District People's Committee, Da Ton Commune People's Committee, agencies, organizations, and local communities to conduct research and implementation in accordance with current regulations./.
