iHanoi - an online interactive channel in the digital environment between people, businesses and city authorities
The iHanoi application was officially announced and put into operation on June 28, 2024, as an online interaction channel in the digital environment between citizens, businesses and city authorities. However, the current installation and usage rate is still limited.
The peak emulation period was officially started by the Hanoi People's Committee from November 1, 2024 to November 30, 2024 to guide people to install, activate accounts and use utilities on the iHanoi application, aiming to raise awareness and promote the participation of all people, businesses, officials and civil servants in installing the application.
The main objectives of the Plan include: Promoting the dissemination of the values and utilities of the iHanoi application so that people and businesses in the City understand, agree and respond to the installation and use of iHanoi as a method of online interaction in the digital environment between citizens, businesses and the Government at all levels; Promoting the exemplary role of cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and workers in state administrative agencies in installing, activating and using the iHanoi application to ensure the completion of the goals and responsibilities, tasks of resolving feedback and recommendations of people and organizations in the City.
*On the same day, the Hanoi People's Committee also issued a Plan to develop, upgrade, and expand the "Digital Capital Citizen" platform - iHanoi in the city for the period 2025 - 2026.
The upgrading and expansion of the iHanoi application aims to make iHanoi the only centralized social networking application platform of Hanoi City to best serve the people and businesses with the motto "Taking people and businesses as the subject, the center for the government to serve".
Specifically, Hanoi sets out 6 main goals for the coming period: Ensuring that 100% of people over 15 years old using phones access and use the application; all feedback from people is received and processed promptly; all officials and civil servants at all levels proficiently use the platform to support people and businesses; the rate of iHanoi usage by people and businesses increases by at least 30% each year; 100% of user data is secure; and at least 30% of utilities on iHanoi integrate AI to improve management and service efficiency.
