(Dan Tri) - According to data from the Hanoi Employment Service Center, last September, about 16,000 people were looking for jobs, of which more than 25% had university degrees or higher.
The above information was just given at the launching ceremony of the partner network and job portal of the University of Commerce this morning (October 26).
According to data from the Hanoi Employment Service Center, last September, there were more than 16,000 people looking for jobs, of which more than 25% had university degrees or higher.
Workers looking for jobs are mainly concentrated in the age group over 35, accounting for more than 46%, and the age group 25-34, accounting for more than 42%.
Most of the workers looking for jobs in the market are unstable, low-skilled or even unskilled workers.

This is because when having to cut down on labor, businesses replace manual labor with low-skilled labor. Highly skilled labor is given priority to retain, because they can take on more job positions.
Sharing with Dan Tri reporter, Mr. Nguyen Vinh Truong, Head of Labor Market Analysis and Forecast Department, Hanoi Employment Service Center said that many universities are changing dramatically.
Schools use many forms to provide maximum support to students, helping them find jobs, but not all students have the skills to find jobs after graduation.
Therefore, a university having a job portal is very trendy, linking training with practice.
According to Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Duc Nhuan, Vice Principal of the University of Commerce, training high-quality human resources to meet the needs of society is always one of the goals that universities always aim for.
Career guidance, business relations and employment for students during training are playing an extremely important role.
With the official announcement of partner units and the launch of the job portal, students will have the opportunity to connect with the labor market, find job opportunities, and practice and intern opportunities at businesses.
Through the job referral system, the school grasps the job search trends of students, thereby helping the school change the training program to suit the trend.

According to the school representative, in addition to the jobs suggested by the system, partner organizations and businesses can post recruitment information on the portal.
The school also creates accounts on the job portal for full-time university students in grades 57-60, with passwords sent to each student's email. Job searching is done online, simple and with a lot of multi-dimensional information.
Students can log in, change their password, update/change their personal information and perform operations such as: Create CV, search for information about career guidance, recruitment and find suitable jobs.
In 2024, the University of Commerce will increase its enrollment quota by 100 and enroll 10 new programs, including 8 programs in the international career-oriented group, including Logistics and Import-Export.
The University of Commerce currently has 38 training programs, including 27 standard training programs, 3 career-oriented training programs, and 8 special international career-oriented training programs (IPOP) starting to enroll students from 2024.
8 IPOP training programs include: Business administration (business administration major); commercial marketing (marketing major); international certified integrated accounting (accounting major); logistics and import-export (logistics and supply chain management major); international trade (international business major); finance-commercial banking (finance-banking major); corporate human resource management (human resource management major); hotel management (hotel management major).
