Hanoi suspends, recalls and destroys cosmetics that do not meet quality standards

The product has the announcement number 167647/22/CBMP-QLD, Tu Phuong Import Export Trading Company Limited (14B Street 71, Tan Quy Ward, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City) is responsible for bringing the product to the market; manufacturer: Barros Laboratories Pty Ltd - Australia.

White Glo Extra Strength Whitening Toothpaste - Coffee & Tea Drinkers Formula 150G, batch number: HAB30#, expiry date: 06 2027 has a formula that does not match the cosmetic product declaration file (missing Titanium Dioxide ingredient). This product has also been announced by the Drug Administration of Vietnam, Ministry of Health to suspend circulation, recall and destroy nationwide.

Hanoi Department of Health informs businesses and cosmetic users in the area to urgently review and immediately stop trading and using the above products.

District, county, and town health departments must notify cosmetic businesses and users in the area to recall all suspended products mentioned above, and at the same time inspect and supervise the recall of the establishments.

The Hanoi Department of Health also actively propagates to people, businesses, and cosmetic users to know and not to trade or use substandard cosmetics that have been suspended from circulation or recalled.
