This is an activity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
The investment project to build a different level intersection between Ring Road 3.5 and Thang Long Avenue, Hoai Duc District, is invested by Hanoi City's budget, with the Hanoi City Civil Works Construction Investment Project Management Board as the investor. The goal is to complete the traffic infrastructure system according to the plan; connect and exploit reasonably with the traffic infrastructure that has been invested and built; serve the needs of goods circulation, production and people's travel needs, reduce traffic congestion, contribute to accelerating the formation of urban areas in the region, promote the socio-economic development of the capital.
The project has a total investment of over 2,384 billion VND, invested by the Hanoi Civil Construction Investment Project Management Board. The construction scale of the intersection includes turbine branches combined with direct tunnels including: Construction of a direct tunnel from Le Trong Tan to National Highway 32, the centerline coincides with Le Trong Tan Street, arranging 4 lanes with a total length of 975m. The section under Thang Long Avenue is designed with a closed tunnel 150m long; on Le Trong Tan Street, an open tunnel 157.5m long, with a retaining wall 220m long; on National Highway 32, an open tunnel 157.5m long, with a retaining wall 200m long. The remaining part is a wheel guard.
The prestressed reinforced concrete slab girder turbine branch bridge has a length of 2,357m/4 branches, a bridge width of 8.8m, 2 lanes, and a reinforced concrete retaining wall with a total length of 619m.
