A series of accidents between a car and two motorbikes at the gate of Quang An flower market (Tay Ho district, Hanoi) caused 4 people to be hospitalized.
On the morning of January 27 (December 28), a serious series of accidents occurred at the gate of Quang An flower market (Tay Ho district, Hanoi), causing 4 people to be hospitalized.
At the above time, 4 vehicles including 2 cars and 2 motorbikes were traveling in the same direction on Au Co street towards Nhat Tan.
When arriving in front of house number 240, the white car with license plate 30A-988.XX suddenly crashed into 2 motorbikes moving in front. Not stopping there, this car continued to rush forward and collided strongly with car with license plate 30K-623.XX.
The strong collision completely deformed the two motorbikes, and severely damaged the two cars. According to witnesses, four people on the two motorbikes were injured and were taken to the emergency room immediately afterwards.
The accident happened right at the time when people poured into the streets to shop for Tet, causing serious traffic congestion on Au Co Street.
Upon receiving the news, Traffic Police Team No. 2 (Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police) quickly arrived at the scene to regulate traffic and investigate the cause of the incident.
At the scene, the male driver of the car that caused the accident, license plate 30A-988.XX, said that due to falling asleep while driving, he lost control of the steering wheel, leading to the unfortunate incident above.
"When I crashed into the two motorbikes, I panicked. Instead of pressing the brake, I pressed the gas pedal, so the motorbike continued to move forward," the male driver testified.
Currently, the case is being further investigated and clarified by the authorities.
