Kinhtedothi - The Hanoi People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 6440/QD-UBND approving the list of roads and streets where a part of the roadway can be temporarily used to keep road vehicles and 2 criteria for temporary vehicle keeping on sidewalks and roads in the city.
According to the approved list, Hanoi City issued an additional list of 191 roads and streets eligible for temporary use of part of the roadway to keep vehicles.
Thus, along with 43 roads and streets that were previously licensed to temporarily use part of the roadway and street to keep vehicles (according to Decision 165/2023/QD-UBND), up to now, Hanoi has a total of 234 roads and streets that allow temporary use of part of the roadway to keep vehicles.
Decision No. 6440/QD-UBND also issued 2 criteria for vehicle parking on sidewalks and roads in the city.
In particular, the criteria for organizing the care of vehicles on the road and street stipulate: Do not organize the care of vehicles on national highways passing through urban areas; Do not obstruct traffic, affect the daily life and activities of both sides of the street;
With a two-way road 10.5m wide, parking is allowed on one side; with a road 14m wide, parking is allowed on both sides; With a one-way road 7.5m wide, parking is allowed on the right side of the road; Parking spots must be at least 20m away from the intersection. Criteria for organizing the care of road vehicles on sidewalks stipulate: Do not care for vehicles on national highways through urban areas; Do not care for vehicles in front of offices or some special streets.
