(CLO) From January 1, 2025, Hanoi Museum and relic site No. 22 Hang Buom, Heritage House No. 87 Ma May will charge fees for domestic and foreign organizations and individuals to visit.
The resolution on collecting fees for visiting scenic spots, historical sites, cultural works, and museums in Hanoi was just approved by the Hanoi People's Council this afternoon (December 10).

Accordingly, from January 1, 2025, Hanoi Museum and relic site No. 22 Hang Buom, Heritage House No. 87 Ma May will charge fees for domestic and foreign organizations and individuals to visit.
The fee collection at Hanoi Museum is divided into 2 phases. Phase 1, from January 1, 2025 until the exhibition project is completed, the fee is 30,000 VND/visit/guest; Phase 2, after the exhibition project is completed, the fee is 50,000 VND/visit/guest.
The relics at 22 Hang Buom and the Heritage House at 87 Ma May are 20,000 VND/turn/guest.
Fee-exempt subjects include people with severe disabilities and children under 16 years old. Subjects with a 50% fee reduction include people with disabilities, the elderly, students aged 16 and over, and subjects who enjoy preferential policies on cultural enjoyment.
The free admission period is Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day, November 23. Hanoi Museum will also be free of charge on International Museum Day, May 18.
The Management Board of Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi Old Quarter; Hanoi Museum organizes direct fee collection. The rate left for the collecting unit is 90%, the remaining 10% is paid to the state budget.
