Hanoi sets off fireworks in two art programs to celebrate Southern Liberation Day

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), on the evening of April 22, the Central Propaganda and Education Commission chaired and coordinated with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army to organize the political and artistic program "North-South Appointment" at My Dinh Stadium (Nam Tu Liem District, Hanoi); on the evening of April 27, Vietnam Television organized a television bridge "Forever the Triumphal Song", including a bridge point at Thong Nhat Park (Tran Nhan Tong Street, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi).

In order to create an atmosphere of excitement, national pride, and solidarity among the people of the capital to celebrate the anniversary, the Hanoi People's Committee has just issued Plan No. 107/KH-UBND on organizing fireworks displays in the political and artistic program "North-South Appointment" and the live TV program "Forever the Triumphal Song".

Specifically, with the political and artistic program “North-South Promise”, the city will organize 1 shooting point, 1 high-altitude fireworks display combined with low-altitude fireworks and pyrotechnics at the F1 racetrack area of ​​Phu Do ward, Nam Tu Liem district; expected time from 9:45 p.m. to 10 p.m. on April 22.

With the live TV program "Vang mai khuc khai trien", the city organizes 1 shooting point, 1 high-altitude fireworks display combined with low-altitude fireworks at the Multi-purpose stage area of ​​Thong Nhat Park, expected time from 9:45 p.m. to 10 p.m. on April 27.

The City People's Committee assigned the Capital Command to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, agencies, the People's Committees of Nam Tu Liem District and Hai Ba Trung District to carry out the task of fireworks display; develop and implement a plan to transport and organize fireworks display according to plan; coordinate with the City Police to closely direct patrol and guard work, maintain security and order, social safety, prevent fires and explosions, and ensure absolute safety before, during and after fireworks display.

City Police: develop plans and strategies to ensure social order and safety, traffic safety; especially guide and direct traffic in the fireworks area; facilitate vehicles carrying fireworks and technical equipment to the site.

The People's Committees of Nam Tu Liem and Hai Ba Trung districts: ensure the ground for gathering forces and technical means to deploy the construction of the fireworks display site; ensure environmental sanitation and lighting at the display area; direct military forces to organize fireworks displays according to plan, ensuring safety; direct the police force to coordinate with functional agencies to maintain political security, social order and safety, do a good job of fire prevention and fighting before, during and after the display ends; direct and organize forces, means, supplies, and medical staff to ensure timely first aid when situations occur at the fireworks display site.
