Ha Dong: Details of population size and area of ​​5 wards expected after rearrangement

On the afternoon of April 19, the People's Committee of Ha Dong district informed that according to the plan to arrange commune-level administrative units, Ha Dong district will have 5 wards left.

The administrative unit with the largest area and population is Yen Nghia with 13.38km2 and a population of 91,453 people. The current headquarters of the Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of Ha Dong district will be arranged for the working headquarters of the Ha Dong grassroots administrative unit.

Specifically, the basic administrative unit of Ha Dong has a natural area of ​​9.26 km2 and a population of 90,284 people. The administrative boundary includes the entire area and population of the wards: Van Phuc, Phuc La; most of the natural area and population of the wards: Mo Lao, Ha Cau, Van Quan, Quang Trung, La Khe (Ha Dong); part of the natural area and population of the wards: Dai Mo, Trung Van (Nam Tu Liem), Tan Trieu commune (Thanh Tri).

Duong Noi basic administrative unit has a natural area of ​​8.07 km 2 , population of 78,681 people. Administrative boundaries include: Most of the natural area and population of Duong Noi ward (Ha Dong); part of the natural area and population of the wards: Dai Mo (Nam Tu Liem), La Khe, Yen Nghia, Phu La (Ha Dong); communes: Dong La, La Phu (Hoai Duc). It is expected that the headquarters of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations will be the current headquarters of Duong Noi ward People's Committee.

Yen Nghia basic administrative unit has a natural area of ​​13.38 km2 , population of 91,453 people. The administrative boundary includes most of the natural area and population of the wards: Yen Nghia, Dong Mai (Ha Dong); part of the natural area and population of Dong La commune (Hoai Duc). It is expected that the headquarters of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations will be the current headquarters of Dong Mai Ward People's Committee.

Phu Luong basic administrative unit has a natural area of ​​9.45 km 2 and a population of 84,284 people. The administrative boundary includes the entire area and population of Phu Lam ward (Ha Dong); most of the natural area and population of Phu Luong ward (Ha Dong); part of the natural area and population of Kien Hung ward (Ha Dong) and Huu Hoa commune (Thanh Tri). It is expected that the headquarters of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations will be the current headquarters of Phu Luong ward People's Committee.

Kien Hung administrative unit has the smallest area and population after the arrangement with an area of ​​6.46 km2 and a population of 62,984 people.

Kien Hung was formed from most of the natural area and population of the wards: Kien Hung, Phu La (Ha Dong); part of the natural area and population of the wards: Phu Luong, Ha Cau, Quang Trung (Ha Dong), Tan Trieu commune (Thanh Tri district). It is expected that the headquarters of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations will be the current headquarters of Kien Hung Ward People's Committee.

Notably, the entire natural area and population of Bien Giang ward will be transferred to the administrative unit of Chuong My.

Up to now, Ha Dong District Party Committee has issued a decision to establish a Steering Committee to implement the merger and reorganization of commune-level administrative units in Ha Dong District and the implementation plan. It clearly states the requirements, tasks and specific timelines for each part of the work, of each agency and unit.

To carry out the above task, the People's Committee of Ha Dong district issued a document on organizing public consultation and approving the policy to implement the plan to arrange commune-level administrative units in Ha Dong district.

According to this document, the organization of public consultation on the plan to arrange new commune-level administrative units to be formed in Ha Dong district and to seek opinions on the proposed names of the new administrative units after the arrangement must be completed no later than April 21; the results of the consultation must be reported on April 22; the District People's Council must approve the policy of arranging and reorganizing commune-level administrative units, synthesize the results, and report to the City Department of Home Affairs no later than April 26.
