Under that blue sky, the soldiers' uniforms are mothers, sisters, and younger sisters practicing every movement, every step, preparing for the sacred moment: the parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 / April 30, 2025).
They are soldiers of the Communications and Military Music Divisions. To encourage the spirit of the female soldiers of the Navy, on April 22, Colonel Nguyen Quoc Doanh, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Navy, authorized by the Head of the Navy Command, and the Women's Association of Navy Region 2 visited, presented gifts, and encouraged the female soldiers who were training here.

The Navy currently has 24 female soldiers participating in this parade. Of these, 14 are from the Communications Division and 10 are from the Military Music Division. Since November last year, they have begun their training at Mieu Mon (Hanoi), then marched to Bien Hoa from April 5 this year, continuing their training sessions under the scorching sun, closely following the plans and requirements of the General Staff.
Not only is it a challenge of physical endurance, but it is also a training of mental will: Keeping a straight line, walking evenly, with decisive, uniform, and beautiful movements. Each movement does not allow for even the slightest mistake. The high technical and aesthetic requirements, combined with the harsh weather conditions, make many women, especially those participating for the first time, feel bewildered. But above all, the iron discipline, the will of the marines, and the warm sharing of their teammates, have helped them to continue steadily.

“You comrades are representing the entire Army, not only the responsibility of the soldiers, but also the pride of each individual and unit. Your footsteps today are not simply steps on the training ground, but the steps of Vietnamese bravery and intelligence on the historical square,” Colonel Nguyen Quoc Doanh emphasized in his instructions to the training formation.
Here, Colonel Nguyen Quoc Doanh, on behalf of the General Staff, the Political Department, the Naval Logistics and Engineering Department, and representatives of the Women's Association of Naval Region 2, presented gifts of encouragement to the female soldiers. The gifts were small but full of affection, a reminder that behind the scorching days on the training ground, there is always the support and pride of the rear, of comrades and teammates.

In the training formation, the eyes of Major Truong Thuy Duong, an employee of Warehouse 700, Department of Logistics and Engineering of the Navy, lit up with emotion: “From the first days I set foot in Bien Hoa, I was quite bewildered because the weather was too harsh, the training intensity was very high. But thanks to the encouragement of my superiors and the close affection of my teammates, I feel myself growing more mature every day. I will try my best to walk with the whole team in a steady and beautiful manner on the Great Ceremony. I am so proud to be a female Navy soldier!”

Standing nearby, Lieutenant Ngo Thi Thu Hien, a member of the Military Band, hid her sweat and her longing for her two young children back home: “As the mother of two children, the older one is 8 years old, the younger one is 5 years old, and I am often alone because my husband is working far away, I was hesitant when I accepted the mission. But my husband's encouraging eyes, the support of my grandparents, and the innocent smiles of my children, all gave me strength. Participating in the parade on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification is a great honor, a gift I give to my family and the Fatherland. Despite the harsh sun, although my heart sometimes aches with longing for my children, I understand that every step, every sound from the Military Band is the heartbeat of patriotism, an affirmation of the will and discipline of a Navy soldier.”

In the middle of the Bien Hoa training ground, in the hot April weather, the female soldiers' footsteps were still steady and steady, like a persistent march of faith, will and love for the Fatherland. The visit of the working delegation was a great source of spiritual encouragement, lighting in each soldier's heart the flame of pride and the desire to contribute.
On the scorching hot training ground, the footsteps still echo, resonating with the sound of the unification season. A generation of female Navy soldiers is continuing to write the immortal epic with their own footsteps: Steadfast, proud, confident, marching for the national flag.
