Contribute working days to remove temporary houses
(QNO) - In recent times, officers and soldiers of armed forces units and union members and youth have participated in helping people dismantle, clean up and transport construction materials, pour foundations, build walls, build houses, etc., contributing to reducing costs and speeding up the progress of housing construction. This is considered an important task in practicing "Skilled Mass Mobilization" work associated with the assigned political tasks of each relevant agency, unit and locality.

According to Colonel Hoang Van Man - Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard, since the beginning of 2025, the Provincial Border Guard has supported the construction of 25 new houses, each house worth 50 - 100 million VND, for people in difficult circumstances and poor households in the border area. More than 300 officers and soldiers also directly contributed 1,767 working days to build the houses.

In addition, according to the plan to organize mass mobilization activities to support human resources to implement the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province of the Provincial Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary Houses, the Provincial Police were assigned to support the elimination of 40 temporary houses in Phuoc Son, Bac Tra My and Dong Giang.

Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet emphasized the importance of organizing mass mobilization activities to support human resources to implement the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the province. The Provincial Party Secretary said that the State currently supports 60 million VND/household to build new houses, if all the money is allocated to renting houses, it will be difficult to ensure the "3 hard" conditions.
Mr. Dinh Van Lanh's house has been completed with a construction cost of 120 million VND (of which the State provided 60 million VND, the Provincial Police mobilized 20 million VND from social sources and the family contributed 40 million VND).
