Google has just launched the Pixel Buds Pro 2, a significantly upgraded model with improved noise cancellation and superior sound quality compared to its predecessor.
Alongside the Pixel 9 series of smartphones, Google also launched the Pixel Buds Pro 2 headphones. This is the successor to the Pixel Buds Pro released in 2022, with several significant improvements.

The Pixel Buds Pro 2 are equipped with Google's own Tensor A1 chip, delivering "powerful performance" and twice the noise cancellation capability compared to the first-generation Pixel Buds Pro in the mid-frequency range (400Hz-2kHz). Furthermore, the active noise cancellation (ANC) feature automatically adjusts to the surrounding environment at a rate of three million times per second.
This new generation of Google headphones promises all-day comfort, thanks to a design based on 45 million data points from different ear contours. The headphones feature 11mm drivers and support spatial audio with head-tracking capabilities. Users can also utilize Gemini AI through the Gemini mobile app.
Google says the Pixel Buds Pro 2 use directional microphones, integrated windscreens, and the company's AI technology to help make calls clearer. The new earbuds also support Google's new Find My Device network.
The Pixel Buds app will offer EQ customization and support for software updates for the earbuds. Regarding battery life, Google promises up to 8 hours of listening time with ANC on (12 hours with ANC off) and up to 30 hours with the charging case with ANC on (48 hours with ANC off). The charging case also supports wireless charging.
The Pixel Buds Pro 2 earbuds will come in four color options: Porcelain, Hazel, Wintergreen, and Peony, priced at $229 (approximately 5.7 million VND). Shipping will begin on September 26th.
