On the morning of September 5th, over 22 million students in preschool and primary/secondary schools nationwide officially began the 2023-2024 school year. Joining the vibrant atmosphere of welcoming the new school year across the country, teachers and students of the TH School system enthusiastically entered the new school year with renewed faith and enthusiasm.
After 8 years of establishment and development, TH School now boasts 3 modern campuses in Chua Boc, Hoa Lac ( Hanoi ), and Vinh City. In the autumn weather, the opening ceremony of TH School in Hanoi began with a vibrant and energetic drum performance by the students at the striking pink school building with its beautiful lotus-shaped architecture on Chua Boc street.
Students were excited during the warm and brief opening ceremony, welcoming the new school year 2023-2024 at TH School, Chua Boc, Hanoi on the morning of September 5th.
The opening ceremony, themed "Continuously Striving for Excellence," featured a special highlight: the moment when new TH School students walked the red carpet to the sound of ringing bells, holding colorful flags representing their respective home countries.
For the new school year, TH School welcomes new students from 20 countries, bringing the total number of "nationalities" in its student community to nearly 30, including many new students from South Korea, the United States, Russia, and India.
Attending the opening ceremony were talented young alumni from TH School, who sent greetings from all over the world . Students and parents at the ceremony were also deeply impressed by the outstanding achievements of the school's teachers and students in the past academic year, and by the spirit of readiness to conquer higher challenges and strive for even greater accomplishments – a spirit that has been maintained and passed down through generations of TH School students.
"Going Beyond" is the main theme implemented throughout the new school year, reflecting the school's desire to break free from limitations and always be ready to conquer new achievements.
Also during the ceremony, a video introducing the school, featuring heartfelt messages from a mother who deeply loves her child and is passionate about building a superior educational model in Vietnam, from its founder Thai Huong, touched the hearts of those attending the event.
She shared her thoughts and passion for building TH School, with the heart of a mother, aiming to provide international-quality education and nurture a generation of well-rounded global citizens in the future, right here in Vietnam.
" Throughout their children's education, mothers always want to give them the best opportunities and educational environments. However, surely no mother wants to let go of her young children as they tentatively step out into a strange and unfamiliar world. No mother wants her child to leave her embrace too soon, with an incomplete childhood in a foreign land."
Every mother, when her child goes to study far from home, surely understands the salty taste of tears shed at the airport as they say goodbye. Then there are the sleepless nights filled with longing and affection for their child, and the bittersweet disappointment of a brief visit home .
On the opening day, Founder Thai Huong shared: “ I believe that by being involved and growing in an environment that values effort and provides maximum opportunities for holistic development—mental, physical, and intellectual—each TH School student will be further motivated to develop their inherent strengths, establish a responsible future path, and aspire to affirm themselves and become a better version of themselves.”
Overcoming language barriers and cultural differences, the entire teaching staff and school employees have always collaborated effectively, working diligently and dedicating themselves to contributing to TH School's milestones of success: This is the result of listening to and understanding each other, all working towards a single goal: All for our beloved students!

Next academic year, with the spirit of "constantly striving for excellence," TH School will continue to pursue its path towards achieving WASC accreditation for its Hoa Lac boarding facility .

Beyond simply providing an internationally standardized curriculum, after years of striving to demonstrate TH School's commitment to fostering an excellent learning environment, on July 18, 2023, the Chua Boc campus was certified by the Accreditation Commission of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (ACS WASC) as meeting international accreditation standards for all levels from Kindergarten (PreK/KG) to Grade 12.
Certification from WASC, one of the oldest and most highly regarded accreditation bodies in the world, is a testament to the quality of education at TH School, as only 19 schools in Vietnam have received this accreditation.
Graduating from a WASC-accredited school will give TH School students many advantages in their studies and careers, including prestige in academic achievement and greater opportunities for international study thanks to the extensive global network of WASC members.
To achieve this success, the school has passed accreditation exams, demonstrating its competence through concrete evidence in teaching and learning, meeting the many stringent requirements and standards of WASC. TH School also sent its outstanding teachers to participate in WASC training programs abroad to continue maintaining and developing their skills, and simultaneously welcomed a delegation to the Chua Boc campus for direct verification and evaluation.
