The North and many provinces and cities across the country are in a severe heat wave right from the beginning of summer, with temperatures sometimes reaching over 40 degrees Celsius.
Notably, according to the warning of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, General Department of Hydro-Meteorology, in the coming time (under El Nino conditions), the average temperature in the coming months will tend to be higher than normal; there will be intense heat and the possibility of many temperature records appearing.
These days, many people still have to work outdoors such as farmers, construction workers, and people who have to travel on the road.
According to health experts, to prevent heat stroke in hot weather, outdoor workers, in addition to having adequate sun protection equipment, should periodically go to a cool place to rest for 10-15 minutes to cool down and replenish water.
On average, a person should drink 2.5-3 liters of water per day on hot days.
