To clarify the topic "Content on building, managing, operating the Center for innovative startups and promoting the development of an international innovation and startup ecosystem in Ninh Binh", the workshop continued to discuss in a roundtable to share practical experiences and suggest solutions for Ninh Binh to become an international innovation center.

Comrade Doan Minh Huan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Mr. Nguyen Thanh Viet, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Intracom Group chaired the discussion session.

Also attending the discussion were: Mr. Kieu Cong Thuoc, Chairman of Vietnam Creative Startup Fund; Mr. Hoang Nam Tien, Vice Chairman of FPT University Council; Mr. Nguyen Tu Quang, Chairman of BKAV Technology Group; Mr. Ngo Vinh Bach Duong, Director of Legal Consulting Center, Institute of State and Law; Dr. Vu Viet Anh, Chairman of Success Academy.

Moderating the roundtable discussion, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Doan Minh Huan reviewed the contents of the delegates' presentations. He paid attention to the opinion of Designer Minh Hanh when mentioning the "craft village model in Ninh Binh", the challenges of breaking the value of traditional craft villages, suggesting a model of conversion from household to business model to create room for startups, innovation and creativity on traditional cultural values. From the heritage of craft villages, traditional craft products can develop into a cultural industry serving experiential tourism with orientations to become "heritage parks", "heritage museums", "heritage film studios", "heritage ruins".

The Provincial Party Secretary also suggested some contents for delegates to discuss around human resources, creative products, and operating methods of the Startup Center.

Based on the suggested content, the delegates focused on analyzing and clarifying the concept, path, and direction to build and promote the development of the innovative startup ecosystem in Ninh Binh. The delegates said that the issue of Innovation Centers has been formed in many localities across the country, but not all places have been successful. Therefore, Ninh Binh needs to choose a direction to promote the highest efficiency. Many views agree that the province must first have an open mindset in approaching this issue; accompanied by different mechanisms and policies to attract the Startup team, both domestic and international businesses. Regarding human resources, it is necessary to focus on cooperation with universities and research institutes to train people, exchange knowledge, cooperate in research and transfer technology, quickly create a force that is knowledgeable about innovation to be ready to welcome new projects and market opportunities to Ninh Binh.

Delegates also discussed institutional issues, startup support, etc. They also made suggestions on technologies related to the environment, craft village products, and the application of creative ideas and new technologies in tourism development.

From a technological perspective, some delegates said that in the field of innovation, we can completely digitize the unique heritage values, indigenous culture, motifs, images... of Ninh Binh to promote them more widely to the public, only then can we have breakthrough startups of a global nature.

Some opinions also suggest that Ninh Binh is the cradle of many traditional craft villages, which is the basis and foundation for creative startups. However, the most important thing now is to identify the customer profile to develop suitable products. It is necessary to combine craft villages with tourism activities, experiences, and shows. Here, there needs to be a connection and support from the government for startups to create highlights for the locality.

Speaking at the conclusion of the roundtable discussion, Comrade Doan Minh Huan, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, acknowledged and highly appreciated the opinions of the delegates clarifying the concept, viewpoint, and conception of innovation, creativity, and the path that Ninh Binh has chosen to become an international startup center. Based on the analysis of innovation and creativity models in Vietnam and the world, the fundamental and unique advantages of Ninh Binh are the possession of the "dual heritage" of Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex and the special value of Hoa Lu Ancient Capital with its massive, dense, and rich heritage, creating an opportunity for Ninh Binh to develop the cultural industry associated with the innovative economy.

In fact, Ninh Binh is taking systematic steps and clearly orienting the path to becoming an outdoor creative center based on the values of landscape, nature, culture, history and a mixed economy; the province has initially shifted the threshold from extensive tourism to cultural industry.

He also analyzed the difficulties, obstacles, and connections when building a cultural industry associated with innovation based on the practical conditions of Ninh Binh. Therefore, this workshop is not only a story about a scientific workshop with experiences and policy strategies to form an Innovation Center, but also implies attracting investment resources based on the potentials and strengths of the province with the motto: "Proud of heritage, growing from heritage, prosperous from heritage".

Delegates attending the workshop will continue with a thematic discussion session on "In-depth content on innovative startups in a number of fields".
