Accordingly, from early morning of the same day, the number of cars moving on the Phap Van - National Highway 45 increased, especially on the Cau Gie - Ninh Binh route (section through Phu Ly city, Ha Nam province). "During the days leading up to Lunar New Year, people's travel patterns are constantly changing. In the past, traffic was heavy during the morning rush hour from Hanoi to Thanh Hoa or in the afternoon rush hour in the opposite direction. But now there can be congestion in both directions at night," said Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Manh Thang.

To handle unexpected situations well and resolve traffic jams promptly, the unit used 16 motorbikes and 13 cars to block intersections from the highway to National Highway 1A and vice versa.
