In the first quarter, the province's socio-economic situation continued to be stable and had positive developments. The economic growth rate reached 7.94%, higher than the national average and exceeded the set scenario. The indexes of industrial production, total retail sales of goods, consumer service revenue and budget revenue all increased compared to the same period. The work of Party building, consolidating the political system, ensuring national defense and security were implemented synchronously. The reorganization of the apparatus continued to be implemented resolutely in accordance with the direction of the Central Government.

However, some targets have not met requirements such as the disbursement rate of public investment capital is still low, the recruitment of new party members has not met the plan, the number of businesses ceasing operations remains high, the number of tourists has decreased. Some problems in resource management, local forest fires still occur in some localities.

In the second quarter, in addition to continuing to strictly implement the Central Committee's resolutions and conclusions on reorganizing the two-level government apparatus, stepping up propaganda to create social consensus, promoting the great national unity bloc... The province emphasized not to neglect the previously set goals. Strive for GRDP growth in the first 6 months of the year to reach the necessary level to ensure the annual target of 8.5% or more. The elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses must be carried out on schedule and completed before October 31, 2025. The disbursement of public investment capital, attracting non-budgetary investment, and site clearance for key projects are identified as key steps.

The province also emphasized the need to improve the efficiency of budget revenue and expenditure management, continue administrative reform, improve the investment environment, and promote digital transformation. The health, education, and cultural and social sectors need to proactively prepare conditions for exams, prevent seasonal epidemics, and accelerate the progress of schools meeting national standards. At the same time, Bac Kan will synchronously deploy solutions to ensure security and order, effectively combat all types of crimes, and thoroughly resolve petitions, complaints, and denunciations./.
