La Cafe staff decorate the national flag to welcome April 30.
Living in the age of technology and integration, Hoa Binh youth are increasingly proactive and flexible in expressing their patriotism. Whenever special historical events such as the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day are approaching, young people find their own unique ways to express their gratitude, appreciation and pride in Vietnam.
These days, a small street corner in Quynh Lam ward, Hoa Binh city becomes brilliant with national flags at La Coffee - Ni's Garden. The shop is not only a familiar lyrical destination for many young people, but on this April 30th occasion, it also becomes a space to recall proud history.
Mr. Tran Hieu Hung, owner of La Coffee - Ni's Garden, said: Every April 30th, we always want every guest to not only enjoy coffee, but also feel the pride of their country. Drinks with Vietnamese colors, cakes with the red flag with yellow star, or small flags placed in a solemn place... All want to send gratitude to the previous generation and remind the younger generation to cherish independence, freedom, love and protect the Fatherland.
Choosing a cafe space with a national flag, checking in with friends and enjoying drinks and dishes with Vietnamese meanings is one of the simple but practical ways to help young people feel more proud of the heroic history of the nation and their ancestors. From there, connect with history and with their roots.
The Youth Union at all levels of Hoa Binh province is also actively implementing many activities to promote patriotism among young people. On social networking platforms, the Provincial Youth Union has been implementing many communication campaigns to create a widespread impact. Through short videos , touching stories about historical figures, online history competitions, and beautiful photos of the Fatherland shared, young people are more aware of the value of independence, freedom and peace.
Mr. Nguyen Duy Tu, Secretary of the Hoa Binh Provincial Youth Union, emphasized: Patriotism and national pride can be expressed through small, simple actions such as sharing a photo of the national flag, adding a reminder of a historical day to a personal social network account... and always living responsibly, contributing to the development of the homeland and country.
Images at coffee shops, posts on social networks, traditional historyeducation group activities... gradually become a positive feature among Hoa Binh's youth.
The ways young people today express their patriotism always have one thing in common: pride in Vietnam and a sense of responsibility to contribute to building the country, preserving good values to pass on to future generations.
