Introducing ethnic costumes and the book "Travel: Brilliant costumes of women of Vietnamese ethnic groups"

The exhibition displays 99 works including paintings, clips and photos recording the daily life and traditional costumes of women of Vietnam's ethnic minorities, including 15 ethnic groups living in Ha Giang.

This is the passion and enthusiasm for discovering the traditional cultural values ​​of ethnic minorities of director and former journalist Nguyen Bong Mai during her time doing field work, researching and writing books.

Through the exhibition, we aim to inspire people to dare to think, dare to do, overcome gender prejudices, love traditional culture, while preserving and promoting traditional cultural values ​​of ethnic groups associated with sustainable tourism development; honoring the beauty of Vietnamese women in traditional costumes.

At the ceremony, director and former journalist Nguyen Bong Mai shared valuable experiences from her 99-day cross-country trip and discussed and found new and creative directions for the work of preserving and promoting traditional cultural values.
